Puppies receive maternally derived antibodies (MDAs) from their mother's milk/colostrum if she is properly vaccinated, providing temporary immunity to newborn puppies while their immune systems are still developing which means annual Vet exams & vaccines for breeding dogs are an essential practice & should be standard for any ethical breeder. Silverside Aussies are examined & vaccinated annually by a USDA-certified state-licensed Veterinarian to protect against Distemper, Parvo, Lepto, Bordetella, Rabies, & tested for Heartworms & internal/external parasites.

💋 PERSONALITY
If we had to describe Remi in one word... Love. Everything about her revolves around people. She doesn't just enjoy being around her family—she genuinely wants everyone she meets to feel loved. Friends, strangers, neighbors... it doesn't matter. Remi happily trots over with the biggest smile, convinced every new person is simply another opportunity to make a friend. And yes... She'll probably greet you with kisses. Lots of them. She has never met a stranger she didn't think deserved a warm welcome.
👧 CHILDREN ARE HER FAVORITE PEOPLE
If there's a child nearby... Remi has already found them. She has an incredible softness around children that melts our hearts every time we see it. Whether she's quietly following them around the yard, curling up beside them during movie night, or happily soaking up hugs, she seems to instinctively understand how gentle she should be. Watching Remi with kids is one of the many reasons we love her so much. She's patient. Kind. Gentle. And endlessly affectionate.
🌟 WHY WE CHOSE REMI
Remi is unlike any other dog in our program. Standing just 18 inches tall, she's one of the smallest girls at Silverside, yet she somehow has one of the biggest personalities. Her rich red coat, brilliant blue eyes, and teddy bear expression make her instantly recognizable, but it's her heart that truly sets her apart. She has an incredible way of connecting with people. Some dogs earn your admiration. Remi earns your affection.
🎓 SMART... BUT SHE'D RATHER CUDDLE
Remi has earned multiple AKC Titles, proving she's every bit as intelligent as you'd expect from an Australian Shepherd. Ironically... She was probably one of the hardest dogs we've titled. Not because she couldn't learn the tricks. Because she'd much rather stop training halfway through for cuddles. Every lesson somehow turned into a snuggle session. If there were an AKC title for Professional Cuddler, we're convinced Remi would've earned that one first.
🩷 THE LITTLE THINGS
It's the little things Remi does that make us smile every day. The way she looks at us with those expressive blue eyes. The way she quietly follows us from room to room without asking for anything. The way she somehow always finds the perfect opportunity to sneak in another kiss. She doesn't need to be the center of attention, she's simply happiest when she's close to the people she loves.

Her CHIC certification, OFA evaluations, board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist eye examinations, and extensive DNA testing covering more than 270 genetic health conditions and traits reflect our commitment to producing healthy, predictable Australian Shepherds.
