Puppies receive maternally derived antibodies (MDAs) from their mother's milk/colostrum if she is properly vaccinated, providing temporary immunity to newborn puppies while their immune systems are still developing which means annual Vet exams & vaccines for breeding dogs are an essential practice & should be standard for any ethical breeder. Silverside Aussies are examined & vaccinated annually by a USDA-certified state-licensed Veterinarian to protect against Distemper, Parvo, Lepto, Bordetella, Rabies, & tested for Heartworms & internal/external parasites.

❤️ PERSONALITY

If we had to describe Raven in two words... Happy-go-lucky & our favorite, bomb-proof. Life is simply one big adventure in Raven's eyes. She greets every morning with excitement, tackles new experiences with confidence, and somehow manages to make even ordinary days feel a little more fun. Whether she's exploring a new trail, learning a new trick, or simply following us around the yard, Raven approaches everything with an optimistic, carefree attitude that's impossible not to love.

 

When I decided to learn how to street rollerblade, there wasn't even a question which dog I wanted beside me—it was Raven. I knew that if I lost my balance or took a spill, she wouldn't panic. She'd simply lie down, patiently wait for me to gather myself, and then happily continue our adventure together. She did not disappoint 😂

 

That quiet confidence and unwavering trust in her people are incredibly difficult to teach, and they're one of the many reasons we treasure her. She frolics when she's happy, spins in circles when she wants attention, and happily weaves between your legs until you stop what you're doing to pet her. Raven approaches life with pure joy, and we hope her puppies inherit that same cheerful outlook.

Raven impressed us long before she ever joined the Silverside family. She comes from thoughtfully selected bloodlines emphasizing health, structure, stable temperaments, and versatility. She checked every box we look for on paper—but what truly made us fall in love was the dog herself.

Some dogs work hard for every title. Raven made it look effortless. She earned multiple AKC Performance Titles with the same enthusiasm she approaches everything else in life. Her intelligence is matched by an incredible willingness to please, making her one of the easiest dogs we've ever trained. For us, her titles aren't just ribbons—they're another reflection of the sound mind, trainability, and versatility we strive to preserve in every Silverside puppy.

 

🩷 THE LITTLE THINGS

As much as we admire Raven's confidence and accomplishments, it's the little things that make us smile the most. Her tiny little tail wags about a million miles an hour whenever she's excited. Instead of demanding attention, she'll gently bump your knee as if to politely remind you she's available for pets whenever you have a moment.

 

And then there are her eyes. Raven has one of the softest, most loving expressions we've ever seen. She has a way of looking at you that makes you feel like you're the most important person in the world. Those are the moments that remind us why she's so special.

Her CHIC certification, OFA evaluations, board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist eye examinations, and extensive DNA testing covering more than 270 genetic health conditions and traits reflect our commitment to producing healthy, predictable Australian Shepherds.
