☀️ PERSONALITY

If sunshine had four legs... It would probably look a lot like Quinn. She's one of those dogs who seems genuinely excited to wake up every morning. Her tail is almost always wagging, her entire back end seems to wiggle with excitement, and she somehow has a way of making every ordinary day feel a little more fun.

 

Quinn doesn't just wag... She wiggles. She has the happiest little wiggle butt you've ever seen, and when she's really excited, her whole body joins in. It's impossible not to smile when she's around because she's usually already smiling first.

 

She absolutely loves swimming and could spend hours chasing a toy through the water. Unlike most dogs, Quinn doesn't just paddle across the surface—she happily dunks her entire head underwater while searching for her prize before popping back up as if that's the most normal thing in the world. She approaches life with enthusiasm, confidence, and just the right amount of silliness.

She's a beautifully balanced, smaller standard Australian Shepherd with a stunning red coat, expressive amber eyes, and what we think are the "perfect" button ears. Her expression is soft, feminine, and full of personality...

 

Yet the moment you clip on a leash... Everything changes. Suddenly she's all business. Her head comes up, her movement becomes effortless, and it's obvious generations of exceptional dogs stand behind her. She carries herself with the kind of natural presence that can't be taught—it simply comes from thoughtful breeding and generations of dogs built to excel. Her pedigree includes more than 35 Champions, and it shows. But while her pedigree first caught our attention... Her personality completely stole our hearts.

Like every Silverside breeding dog, Quinn completed comprehensive health testing before becoming part of our breeding program. Her CHIC certification, OFA evaluations, board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist eye examinations, cardiac & thyroid screening, and extensive DNA testing reflect our commitment to producing healthy, predictable Australian Shepherds.

 

Combined with generations of thoughtfully selected bloodlines behind her, Quinn gives us confidence that she's passing on far more than just beautiful looks.

 

🐶 HER LEGACY

If there is one thing Quinn has taught us, it's that great mothers don't simply raise puppies... They shape them. Quinn is one of the most devoted mothers we've ever owned. Long after many moms are ready for a little peace and quiet, Quinn still chooses to spend her time playing with her puppies, teaching them appropriate canine manners, and helping them build confidence as they explore the world.

 

Within our own pack, she's also one of the natural leaders. She has a quiet confidence that the other dogs respect, yet she's happiest making friends wherever she goes. She may let us know when someone new arrives with a few alert barks, but introductions are usually followed by a wagging tail and a request for belly rubs.

 

As Quinn approaches her well-earned retirement from motherhood, we're incredibly grateful for everything she's given to Silverside. She has helped shape our program, raised exceptional puppies, and reminded us that the greatest legacy a dog leaves isn't measured by titles or pedigrees... It's measured by the lives they touch.... Because Quinn doesn't just produce wonderful puppies, she makes everyone around her just a little happier.
