MAGIC HAS ONLY BEEN LIVING WITH US SINCE MARCH 2025, when she joined our program & we began evaluting her as a future mom. Magic has lived up to her name. Her personality, looks, & energy are just magic. She is very confident & friendly. She joined our pack seamlessly & has brought nothing but good vibes with her. She loves adventures & is ready for any task. She is the tallest female Aussie we have, but she has a grace & elegence about her that are amazing. P.S. Magic is first cousins with Raven too!!

 

Good with kids? We have never had kids younger than 8 nearby. She is generally very friendly & BOMB PROOF! Nothing fazes her at all!

 

Does she bark? Not very often at all. Usually when something is out of place or if she really needs your attention

 

Dominant or submissive? She is very socially aware with other dogs. She is confident with other dogs. She stays out of drama. Our pack welcomed her with such indifference that we were unsure if she was just that chill (which she is) or if they were ignoring her on purpose.

 

Energetic? high drive or couch potato? Low energy, Low drive. 

 

Does she stay inside or outside more? She sleeps in her crate for 8-9 hrs per night. She is inside & outside equally throughout the day. We have a doggie door.

 

Housebroken? Yes Crate trained? Yes

 

Does she have any training or basic obedience? We practice dog psychology & our dogs are very well behaved & have very good manners. She did not come to us with my tricks, but we have been working on "sit" & she is great in her crate or 

 

Does she know her name? Good at recall? She knows her name. She responds without fail & comes every time. We use their names to call them into or out of doors & spaces individually, so they use their name very often.

 

Friendly, shy or unsocialized? friendly but does not seek out attention until she knows you want her. Likes to check you out first, but will do so eagerly & respectfully.

 

Any behavioral issues or concerns? none at all. Magic would do well in any medium activity home that has love & time to spend with this amazing girl & can care for her needs as age creeps up on her.
